The plastic sheet roll (PP/PET/PS) is fed into the machine and heated to a pliable state. Air pressure and plugs force the sheet into molds to form the cup shape.
Precision steel-rule dies or in-mold cutting tools trim the cups from the web. The cups are then automatically counted and stacked, ready for packaging or printing.
Unlike paper cups (printed before forming), plastic cups are printed after forming. Our high-speed Dry Offset printers apply up to 8 colors directly onto the curved cup surface.
